Claws out

For as long as I can remember, I have always had short-ish nails. I used to bite my nails as a nervous (disgusting) habit until the age of 15 I’d say. Then once I stopped, my nails would always break because of my work. I used to work at a restaurant ,in the back, where I would polish cutlery and plates. This made my nails very weak and would always break off. However once I started my new job in Moscow, I have had so much freedom with my nails, honestly it means that much. You will hardly ever see me without some nail varnish on because it stops me from playing with them if they look preeetty.

Anyywyas, since following WAH! Nails on Instagram I have become more and more fond of the claw nail look. Also seen on my gals Rihanna and Lana, I think they look really chic. I’ve already started to grow them but both of my index fingernails snapped last week from opening the lockers at my local gym. They didn’t have handles ok… I was heartbroken but never the less am still on a mission for long claw like nails.
Not these. Please can someone pass the bucket.

Ideally, I would love to get my nails done by WAH!Nails in Topshop Oxford Circus, the thing is I would have to have a serious think about what nail design I'd want. I'm so indecisive and if I'm spending 30 quid I want to LOVE them.

Acceptable in the 80's

Due to lack of satellite TV in our appartment and getting sick of watching friends, yes it is possible, I have been on a major 80’s movies hype.

Yes they are slightly cheesy and predictable, but I love them. I especially love seeing how cute and young all the well known actors/actresses were, Demi Moore, where did it go wrong?

 Top Gun

Dirty Dancing
"I brought a watermelon"

Goldie Hawn in Overboard and House Sitter

About Last Night
"I thought we had something kind of special"
"No, was kind of sleezy, And now... it's kind of over"

 Rain Man

 Some Kind of Wonderful
"Don't go mistaking paradise for a pair of long legs"

Steel Mgnolias, with the beauty Julia Roberts and my guilty pleasue Dolly.

Cocktail, another Tom Cruise film, promise I'm not obsessed

Ok so it's technically a 90's film, do I even need to say what it is?
I love all of the actresses in these films, they are all so effortless and quite tom boy. The whole of the 80's just fascinates me. The music, movies and fashion, can I please grow up in the 80's?
My top three picks would have to be 'About Last Night', 'Cocktail' and 'Some Kind of Wonderful'.
I'm gonna go and eat some salad so I can look like Demi Moore.

All Black Everything

Black has always been one of my favourite colours to wear. When I'm going out I can always count on a LBD if all else fails and I favoured black back in those regretful 'emo' days, yes, I was one of them.
Now this is naughty, as I know there is no way I can get any of these until I pay off my holiday and get my roots sorted (they're awful TRUST me).
However when I next get paid I'm going to majorly treat myself with all of these, yes all, I deserve it ok ;)

from left to right
Crossover crop top
lace missguided shorts (sold out but will be on line soon, I'm literally praying),
Celine look-a-like,
look-a-like Loubs,
Joni jeans,
backless Asos body,
black peace top.

I'm absolutely adoring Miss Guided at the moment. I only ever used to shop on their for going out dresses but there's so much stuff that I want to buy for holiday on there! I die for these black lace shorts which (fingers crossed) will come back in stock soon!
I'm lusting after so many crop tops and body's at the moment, I just can imagine them looking so good on holiday with some denim shorts or even now I can just wear them out with my disco pants or high waisted black jeans.
If anyone knows me well, they'll know that I am forever in black jeans. I have tried so many jeans in the past from Primark basics to the American Apparel Easy Jean (not worth the hype or money ffs). Apparently these Joni jeans from Topshop are supposed to be the bees knees for high waisted lovers, I'm there.
There are two copy cat items in my wish list, purely because for the time being I can't afford a pair of Loubs and a Celine bag.
One day of course though, when I'm married to Drake.

A Clean Slate

I've started this blog is to show a start of my 'clean slate'. Recently I've gone through changes in my personal and work life which has made me really want a fresh start, put everything in the past and move forward.

To start off, I have no idea what this blog is going to be about and if anyone will ever even read this! For the moment its just a way of putting my goals and ambitions out there to motivate me to pursue them for once!

From today I'm going to start the 30 day shred and to tell the truth I'm SCARED.
I've attempted it before but gave up after 17 days, yes I know, I was so close and just gave up! From today I'm going to start it all over again and do my best to eat 'healthy'. I'm honestly excited as I'll will be finished the shred for my 19th birthday, which is exactly 30 days from now. GAME ON. I'm also hoping that by the time I go on my girls holiday in July I will look like this.

I don't think I will ever be this skinny as I have too much love for pitta bread and hummus, I just want to get to the size where I can happily put on a pair of denim shorts and be honestly happy with the way I look. My main tagret area is my bum and thighs. I have a huge bum, which at the moment looks more like a chicken thigh when I want it to look more like some melons on a stick. Couldn't really think of a better metaphor for that one aha. So aswell as the 30 day shred I'm starting this 30 day squat challenge I found on Instagram (god help me). So from now on squats will be my best mate.

I'm gonna start to watch what I eat and then when I move back to england, I'm going to start to eat clean, as here I don't have the freedom to go and buy my own food. I honestly can't wait to go and shop for healthy food and make yummy recipes. No special diet, just clean eating.

I saw this amazing quote on Instagram today (I know how stupid I sound don't worry).

Attack Life. It's going to kill you anyway.

This quote is just what I need.  A reminder that you only get once chance in life and you have to work for it to make it great. Its not going to be handed to you on a plate, so if you want to: look like that, have that job, travel that place, DO IT. Don't hesitate and do what makes you happy. Cheesy Charrey here.

Cute card from an old family friend

Right, for my first post I think this will do. My next post will probably be within the next couple of days.
